The software giant Adobe has revamped its popular Creative Suite package and agreed to a new version. With it, the new Photoshop CS4 has included some changes that deserved to be further once it has been available for purchase.
Photoshop CS4 provides an improved working space, OpenGL-based features such as rotation of the canvas, new panels for Masks and Adjustments, on-the image that we can apply some adjustments to the style of Photoshop Lightroom, a 3D engine, and then only for begin.
The new Application Frame was born as an attempt to simplify your work environment and reduce the mess caused by the use of multiple windows. Confines all the characteristic features of Photoshop in a single window of variable size and we can move to any position. You can take the whole picture, documents, pallets and other items, and move toward the side of the screen (or better yet, to another monitor) so that you leave a loophole for other issues. If you open more than one document, they are displayed on separate tabs.
With Photoshop CS4 palettes are disappearing. In an effort to reduce the disruption of dialogs, the settings as Levels, Curves, Hue / Saturation, etc., now appear in a single Adjustments panel (settings) which means that your screen is no longer dotted with a few dialog boxes. The new Masks panel is a bit more attractive as it now allows smooth masks on the (non-destructive) and control their density, which means you can make it partially transparent.
You can export InDesign/InCopy books and documents to SVG format directly.
Power Stroke quickly and intuitively performs targeted adjustments.
